Jamal Nxedlana is a cultural entrepreneur and visual artist with a multi-faceted approach of working across platforms and mediums. Jamal is the co-founder of Bubblegum Club, a platform for alternative narratives on South African art and society. His work as an artist has mostly been as a founding member and creative director of CUSS, a Johannesburg-based artist group producing work that responds to commercial, cultural and technological super-hybridity through the filter of urban trends, material artifacts, and youthculture in contemporary post-post-colonial South Africa.
